It is the second installment in the Ragini MMS (2010 film) series, after Ragini MMS. The film's music was composed by D. Imman and cinematography was handled by Srinivasa Rao while editing was done by K.I. Thiagarajan, Vasu Bhaskar and Polupalli Ganesan . It is based on horror Bollywood films of the 1980s including "Ghaneja" (1984), "Kati Patang" (1985) and "Jill Deynamma" (1986). It was released on 22 January 2012 with a "U" certificate. Ragini (Kavya Madhavan) is a strong minded girl who lives with her sister Diya (Anjali) and husband Ragini's mother Bhuvaneswari. On a trip to Lankapudi, they meet a feudal lord Anil Reddy (Sudeep) and his friends who have been on a hunting expedition. The hunting party is accompanied by his younger brother Bhairavi Reddy, the local police officer. The hunting party's leader Anil Reddy toasts his brother's bravery and success as a search and rescue team member. The party takes shelter at the local hotel where the host (L. G. Narayana) introduces Ragini as a "Bollywood actress" to provide entertainment for the guests, including Anil Reddy's friends, who have heard about Ragini from the host's son Udaykumar (Sivaji). Since they want to be entertained by a Bollywood actress, they give her a large amount of money, which she gives to her sister Diya along with directions on how to use it for their daughters' education. Diya and Ragini then settle back into their cottage. Ragini starts to feel uneasy about Anil Reddy but her sister convinces her that he is a good man. She goes along with Diya's idea of seeking his help to find a job for her. To Ragini's surprise, the next morning Anil Reddy comes to her house and offers her a job as an assistant in an ad film shooting which is happening there. He also gives them money for their second daughter's education fund. Nervous, Ragini accepts thinking that it would be better than staying home and doing nothing and also because he has promised them that he would not trouble them anymore after this job ends. cfa1e77820
